Libraries

The Operations Manager's Library architekture provides the opportunity to connect to different systems in a very easy way. There are particular Libraries including different functions to administer nearly all known kinds of platforms in Client-Server IT-Infrastructures. By means of these functions - also known as 'elementary functions' - administrative tasks to be executed in third-party systems can become parts of an Operations Manager automated process.

The administrative chain to the right for example consists of different elementary functions of various Operations Manager modules. Creating the useraccount, setting the password and enabling the account are elements of the NSAD-module (Namespace Active Directory). The elementary functions Create folder, Invoke CACLS and Create share are parts of the NSFS-module (Namespace FileSystem).

Every Operations Manager's administrative chain is composed of multiple and consecutively run elementary functions. Thus extensive and complex work flows can be simplified and economized.
